Member of „Non-Parliamentary Opposition‘s“ Baghdati organization Tariel Zhorzholiani was attacked by unknown people on June 4.
He was attacked while taking „Non-Parliamentary Opposition‘s“ campaign materials to his village for distribution. 2 car blocked the road to Zhorzholiani, assaulted, they took and threw campaign materials. „Non-Parliamentary Opposition“ requests to be investigated the case immediately, to reveal people behind this and to punish them.

„National Movement“ applied interagency commission and protested pressure on their Marneuli governor candidate.
„CEC even didn’t review complaints about „Georgian Dream’s“ Foti and Rustavi mayor candidates, regarding to violating election law requirements about living in Georgia. After that, the same accusation against „National Movement’s“ Marneuli governor candidate Akmamed Imamkhuliev is obviously politically motivated and is example of selective justice“ – said member of UNM Zurab Chiaberashvili.
According to him, a member of parliament of the coalition "Georgian Dream" Ali Mamedov met Akmamed Imamkhuliev and demanded to remove candidacy. On June 5 Khatuna Gogorishvili announced that Davit Usufashvili told her that the Government wish to remove UNM’s candidate in Marneuli. Gogorishvili claims that she rejected and said if their candidate would have problems she make this conversation public.
Interagency commision will review the removing registration of UNM’s Marneuli governor candidate from the election on June 6. „National Movement“ blames PM Irakli Gharibashvili in coordinating selective justice in the country.

The relatives of the "Georgian Dream’s" youth organization and the deceased Paata Kardava spat on and physically abused Governor Candidate for Zugdidi Tengiz Gunava.

Protesters are also demanding the punishemnt of the former Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Governor Zaza Gorozia along with Tengiz Gunava. A physical confrontation is still underway in Zugdidi. The members of the "National Movement" call the incident a provocation orchestrated by the government, while the protesters are denying these accusations and saying that Gunava is being confronted for the crime committed by him.

On 7 June, in Batumi, leaders of the United National Movement (UNM) Giga Bokeria, Gigi Ugulava and Giorgi Baramidze were attacked by persons released from prison under the status of political prisoners. According to InterPressNews agency, the brawl began after Jemal Duadze, a person released as political prisoner, and a member of youth council, Davit Loria, arrived at a pre-election meeting which UNM leaders were conducting with voters. According to the news agency, offenders said that UNM does not have moral right to hold a pre-election meeting. After the conflict ended, the meeting continued.

Commenting on the incident Gigi Ugulava said: "These people actually arrived to cause unrest. Judging by their appearance, also judging by the fact that for almost half an hour there was a confrontation in the center of the city and they also offended children and women being at the meeting whilst no police officer could be seen on the scene, these people were sent by the government. Consequently, it is up to population to draw out a conclusion." Ugulava said.

Samtredia council’s majority candidates of “National Movement” talk about pressure.
Majority candidate of Sajavakho district Davit Nikoleishvili sais that „Georgian Dream“ members try to assault their supporters.
„For last three days coalition „Georgian Dream“ became very agressive in my village. There was an attempt for black PR, assault on my supporters, but they will not succeed and should accept that the truth will win in Sajavakho“ – sais Nikoleishvili.

Election bloc „Non-Parliamentary Opposition“ accusing the ruling party in pressure on thir candidates in Akhaltsikhe and Akhalkalaki. One of the bloc’s leaders Aleko Shalaberidze is going to speak about these facts at interagency comission meeting.
Shalaberidze told journalists that Irakli Gharibashvili will arraign for these facts.

Georgian Dream appeals to the CEC to change the regulation which said if a portion of politicians removed their candidatures from a party’s list, the full list would be removed.
In the Georgian Dream’s June 3 announcement is said that, media had recently reported several cases when opposition candidates had been pressured to remove their names from their party list. They think that the cases had not been "backed up by any facts”. Georgian Dream sais this appeal was not an attempt to favour the Georgian Dream party, but to create a free and fair election environment for all political players.

“United National Movement” responds to “Georgian Dream’s” initiative and thinks, that changing regulation if a portion of politicians removed their candidatures from a party’s list, the full list would be removed, is not adequate. UNM member Levan Tarkhnishvili sais that Kakha Kaladze confused to address the right institution, because the laws are changed by the Parliament and Kaladze also made a mistake with dates.
Tarkhnishvili sais that other opposition political party’s election list and governor candidate have already been removed in Dmanisi District, UNM’s election list has almost been removed.
The chair person of CEC Tamar Zhvania thinks that Kakha Kaladze should address Parliament with such initiative and making amendments in the legislation in not CEC’s authority. She sais that it’s not possible to approve the initiative before the self-government elections.

The Investigation Department of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, detained Giorgi Ghoniashvili for money laundering. According to the Ministry of Finance, Ghoniashvili was detained because of his special influence on trade and a large amount of illicit money laundering. Former Defense Minister David Kezerashvili’s name also appears in case.
The statement reads that Ghoniashvili had information about the owner of Gudauri Ski Resort, who at the same time had registered the Book Trade organization. He asked the owner for help in financing the UNM prior to the election period and received a positive answer.
Support was expressed in the fact that money from Kezerashvili’s fund was included in the Book Trade Company and after that was also included in the UNM fund for political campaign financing.
Investigators said the cost of the contract was $1.5 million USD (2.6 million GEL). The sum of money already transferred according to the false agreement made up $760 000 USD (1.3 million GEL).
Investigators also believed Ghoniashvili asked one of the owners of Gudauri Ski Resort to abolish a $193,000 USD (342,000 GEL) fine with the help of Ugulava, in exchange for 50,000 GEL.
Investigators said they were continuing to identify all parties involved in this case of "organized crime”.

“Non-Parliamentary Opposition” made an announcement about their fining and hope that society will analyze the situation correctly. They claim that, after Irakli Gharibashvili was fined for using administrative resources based on “Non-Parliamentary Opposition’s” complaint, government’s satellite political subjects started campaign against them. “United National Movement” and “Nino Burjanadze – United Opposition” made a complaint to fine “Non-Parliamentary Opposition” almost at the same time.
“Non-Parliamentary Opposition” claims that their activist who distribute their campaign materials are strictly requested to act according the law, but it turns out that, after long time searching, Nino Burjanadze’s camp found few posters which was places violating the rules.
“Non-Parliamentary Opposition” was fined with 1000 Lari.

On June 2 a meeting was held between the "Non-parliamentary opposition” and “Labor Party" leaders, after which the parties have released a special statement.
Following the current situation, "Non-parliamentary Opposition” and “Labor Party “agree that healthy opposition forces coordinated actions are necessary to jointly manage the system changes.We agree to present in the whole country, districts joint candidates in order to exclude splitting the votes between our communities. We call on all healthy opposition forces for coordinated action. Together we can defeat “Georgian Dream" and its satellites.

Tbilisi Mayoral candidates, Dmitri Lortkiphanidze Kakha Kukava and Asmat Tkabladzes said in TV Company "Imedi" that if they are defeated in elections, they will hold street rallies. of "Georgian Dream" mayoral candidate, David Narmania replied to the statement of mayoral candidates from non-parliamentary parties. He said the government has no plans to rig the elections and there will not even be an attempt to act like this.
