PM opens new railway station in Batumi

A new railway station has been opened in Batumi, Adjara region of Georgia.
The station is located in a four-story business center Batumi-Central and occupies 750 square meters.

The building includes offices and service centers. It also has passenger waiting halls.

According to Georgian Railway, the new railway station in Batumi is another major infrastructure project of the government and Georgian Railway that fits the interests of the population and is aimed at increasing tourism potential.

The opening ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili, representatives of Georgian Railway, the Director of the Partnership Fund and members of Adjara’s government.
