The Interior Ministry has launched an investigation into yesterday’s explosion of a car under article 19-109 of the Criminal Code, which pertains to an assassination attempt in aggravating circumstances.

According to the Ministry's press service, the exploded car belonged to one of the leaders of the United National Movement, Givi Targamadze. 4 persons were injured, including the driver of Givi Targamadze.
