The so-called Security Committee of breakaway Tskhinvali region plans to close the administrative border on the day when Georgia holds parliamentary elections.

‘The Security Committee warns the population that nobody will be allowed to cross the eased part of the border from 20:00, October 7.

The checkpoint will resume working at 07:00, on October 9,’ – reads the statement.

As reported by the puppet government, they have been informed a series of provocations are planned in Georgia in order to cause social-political destabilization.
