National Movement says police do not allow voters to arrive at the polling station, Interior Ministry declares this information is not true
22 October, 2016
As majoritarian candidate from National Movement Akmamed Imamkuliev has said, police do not allow voters to arrive at the Kizilajlo polling stations by vehicles.

He says people have to walk up to 500-600 meters to reach the polling station.

He says the village residents have provided him with this information.

But Marneuli Governor Merab Topchishvili refused this information saying people are not prevented from voting.

Later, Georgia’s Interior Ministry said police officers are just regulating the traffic movement and the road towards the polling station is open.
