Another person has been detained for abusing a foreign observer in the village of Jikhashkari during parliamentary elections, - Deputy Interior Minister Shalva Khutsishvili told reporters.

According to him, the foreign observer identified the offender.

"Police detained another person allegedly involved in the Jikhashkari incident yesterday. The victim has recently identified him"- said Shalva Khutsishvili.

As for the 30 October incident of Gori, the Deputy Minister said that investigation is ongoing into the case.
