The Government of Adjara has spent 165,232 GEL on reception of official delegations, religious and state festivals from 2013 until May 10, 2014. Relevant documents were presented by the Batumi office of the Transparency International – Georgia organization.

In addition, in 2013 the government of Adjara held 88 events, while it has held 12 events since 10 May 2014.
According to the official documents issued by the Adjarian government, in 2013 the biggest expense – 28,340 GEL was spent on accommodation of participants of the Tamar Gverdtsiteli International Music Festival.

The list includes the supper held for participants of the defense and security conference, which cost 18318 GEL.
The event dedicated to the Catholicos-Patriarch’s 80-year anniversary cost 21,240 GEL. According to the documentation, the government spent 433 GEL on hosting socially vulnerable and orphan children on kids’ protection day and 270 GEL on New Year’s Day. 51 presents were given to members of official delegations in 2013-2014.
