The Interagency Commission for Free and Fair Elections, being responsible for facilitating
the conduct of 2016 Parliamentary Elections in free and fair environment, hereby issues the following recommendations to

Local self-government bodies:

to refrain from assigning new names to the existing geographical objects, their complexes, or parts before the election results are summarised in order to avoid shortcomings in the process of registering the representatives or observers that are listed by the parties and submitted to the CEC in the pre-election period.

Local self-government bodies and the National Agency of Public Registry:

If there is urgent necessity to rename geographical objects, their complexes, or parts, to assign these numbers within the shortest time possible.
In addition, to refrain from reassigning numbers to geographical objects, their complexes, or parts, except for the cases of urgent necessity.
