Georgia’s Central Election Commission has not named the nine parties the heads of that are not registered on Public Registry’s official webpage. The site does not contain any information about them.
The IPN news agency has addressed the CEC asking to name the parties but the agency has not made any comment yet.
As CEC speaker Ana Mikeladze has declared today, yesterday she addressed the political parties, as no information was published on the Public Registry’s website about their heads.
According to her there are such 9 parties and they have been registered by the CEC for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
According to Ana Mikeladze, if Public Registry finds out the heads are not authorized legally it will discuss the issue of annulling the parties’ registration.
