Irakli Kakulia was born on the 12th December of 1968 in Poti.
In 1992 He graduated from the Polytechnic University, faculty of the Transport Department engineer - builder specializing, in the years 1999-2005 - Iv. State University Faculty of Law.
From 1992-1994, he was foreman in cooperative “Nabada”. In 1994-1998 – The head of Department of Foreign Economic Relations in Poti.
In 2000-2004 he was board member of social movement “The Return of the Mother of God Church”.
1998-2006 he worked as the Director General of “Aldagi” and in 2009-2012 he worked as the director “Aktausibariti”.
2002-2009, he was the member of political party “New Rights”
2002-2006 - worked as a council member of Poti.
Since 2012 he is the member of political party “Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia” and the Chairman of Poti office.
Since 2014, he is the Acting Deputy Mayor of Poti.
He speaks Georgian, English and Russian languages.
He has a wife and three children.
