Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili is sure that the election day will pass peacefully. The head of government is convinced that the population appreciates the very important steps that have been taken in terms of building a democratic country in recent years.
"Our government has done everything to ensure equal election environment that was truly unprecedented and this was mentioned by all of our friends. The only exception was the very sad fact that happened a few days ago. The investigation is underway and I am confident that perpetrators will be punished severely, because it was definitely a step against the state. Nevertheless, this incident cannot stain the pre-election environment.
I'm sure that October 8 will be one of the most important days in our country's life. Our citizens will express their free will and, of course, support our European future. I am sure that this day will pass peacefully", - he said.
