Minister of culture: somebody wants to create noise during pre-election period
According to the Minister of Culture of Georgia, in addition to the people genuinely interested in the Sakdrisi issue, there are those ones who are spreading misinformation about it.

As Guram Odisharia said at a special briefing held in connection with the Sakdrisi-Kachaghiani issue, information, as per which, the works in the vicinity of Sakdrisi are underway in violation of law, is wrong. "As you know, on March 25, 2014, the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia and Company RMG Gold signed a memorandum, which is based on the Georgian legislation and provides for cooperation between the public and private sectors. Unfortunately, some circles are spreading false information as if the paragraphs established by the memorandum are being violated and the works in the vicinity of Sakdrisi are underway in violation of law. We met with the demonstrators and employees of the company on the spot. According to the memorandum, the inspection team of the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia is observing the Sakdrisi area. Impartial international experts will arrive there to monitor the activities ongoing under the license. In addition to the people genuinely interested in the Sakdrisi issue, there are those ones who are spreading misinformation about it. Some of the organizations are deliberately exacerbating the situation and it is absolutely inadmissible,"- said Odisharia.
